Biography
Gavin Finney is a British cinematographer. Born in London in 1963, he studied at Manchester Polytechnic and the National Film and Television School.
He joined the British Society of Cinematographers in 1998 and served as its president from 2006 to 2008. Finney has worked on numerous feature films and television dramas, including Keeping Mum (2005), St Trinian's (2007), Hogfather (2007), The Colour of Magic (2008), The Miniaturist (2017) and Good Omens (2019).
His television credits include episodes of Agatha Christie's Marple (2004) and the six-part series Wolf Hall (2015). He won a BAFTA Television Craft Award for The Fear (2012) and a BSC award for Wolf Hall.
