Biography
Gem Archer is an English guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is best known as a member of the rock band Oasis, which he joined in 1999, and has also performed with Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
Prior to Oasis he fronted the band Heavy Stereo. Archer contributed to Oasis albums including Heathen Chemistry (2002), Don't Believe the Truth (2005) and Dig Out Your Soul (2008). He rejoined the band for their 2025 reunion tour and appears as himself in the 2026 documentary Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger.
