Biography
Gene Ritchings is an American writer and production coordinator. He wrote the teleplay for the Law & Order episode "Pride", which aired in 1995 and was co-credited with Ed Zuckerman. He also served as production coordinator on the series from 1995 to 2005, across 155 episodes.
Ritchings began his career in journalism at the age of 18, working as a reporter and columnist for New Jersey newspapers including The Ocean County Daily Observer and The Asbury Park Evening Press. He later spent 25 years in New York film production before returning to journalism as acting managing editor of the Hudson Reporter newspaper group. He has written the novels Frankenrocker (2003), Winter in a Summer Town and The Reckoning of Adrienne Monet.
