Biography
Geneviève Brunet (31 May 1930 – 31 July 2025) was a French actress who worked in film, television and theatre. She was the twin sister of actress and director Odile Mallet and studied at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris.
Brunet appeared in films including The City of Lost Children (1995) as one of the Octopus, Those Who Love Me Can Take the Train (1998) as Marie-Rose, Seven Years of Marriage (2003) as la mère d'Ariane and Un petit miracle (2023) as Hannah. Her career also encompassed television roles and extensive work in the theatre, often in collaboration with her sister.
