Biography
Genevieve Butler is an American editor and actress. She began her career as a child actor, appearing as Mary Kennesaw in the 1997 film Deceiver. She later moved into post-production, working as an assistant editor on series including The Purge (2019), Cruel Summer (2021) and Them (2021).
Butler has edited episodes of Yellowjackets (2023–2025) and Tell Me Lies (2022–2026), as well as the feature Vikes (2017, as Genevieve C. Butler). She is the daughter of cinematographer Bill Butler and sister of actress Chelsea Butler.
