Biography

Geoffrey Case was a British playwright, radio, television and screen writer. He wrote episodes for the series Inspector Morse (1991) and Play for Today (1970s–80s), as well as for Minder, The Knock and Ruth Rendell Mysteries.

His single dramas include The Accountant (1989), which won the BAFTA Award for Best Single Drama, Fighting for Gemma (1993), Scab (1985) and Fairies. Scab received the Rai Award at the Prix Italia and the Prix Futura at the Berlin Film Festival. He also wrote plays staged at the Soho Poly, Croydon Warehouse Theatre, Birmingham Rep and the Young Vic, and adapted Tintin’s Great American Adventure for the stage.
