Biography
Geoffrey Austin Newland, also credited as Geoffrey Newland, is a British actor. Born in 1986 in Hawick, Scotland, he trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. He has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
His screen credits include Anthony in 28 Years Later (2025), Mr Lillington in Outlander (2018), Tony Scott in Kursk (2018), Jack Hughes in Spooks (2002), Lester Garrick in Father Brown (2013), Spencer Moyle in The Wedding Video (2012), Art Super in The Franchise (2024) and Manny's father in Marionette (2020). He has also appeared in A Kind of Spark and Coronation Street.
