Biography
Geoffrey Wade is an actor whose screen credits include General #3 in Steven Spielberg’s The BFG (2016), a lawyer in The Divide (2018) and the Gracie Mansion butler in City Hall (1996). On television he has appeared in episodes of NCIS (as Air Force Brigadier General Jack Mandrake), Mad Men, Brothers & Sisters, Numb3rs, ER and four Law & Order series, among others.
Wade trained at Central in London. His stage work encompasses Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, national tours of Crazy for You and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, and extensive regional appearances including at the Old Globe, La Jolla Playhouse, Guthrie Theater and a long association with Vermont’s Weston Theater Company. He played Snape and Lord Voldemort in the original San Francisco company of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and has taught at the Antaeus Theatre Company.
