Biography
George Thomas Coker is a retired United States Navy commander who appeared as himself in the 1974 documentary film Hearts and Minds.
Born on 14 July 1943 in Amarillo, Texas, Coker served as a naval aviator. His A-6 Intruder was shot down over North Vietnam in 1966, and he was held as a prisoner of war until his release in 1973. The film includes footage of his return to his hometown and interviews in which he discusses his experiences.
Coker continued his naval service after repatriation and retired in 1986. He is credited on IMDb as nm0170088.
