Biography

George Gallo is an American screenwriter, film director and producer. He wrote the screenplay for the 1988 action comedy Midnight Run, directed by Martin Brest and starring Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin.

His other screenwriting credits include Wise Guys (1986), 29th Street (1991, which he also directed), the story for Bad Boys (1995) and its sequels, The Whole Ten Yards (2004) and Middle Men (2010, which he also directed). He has also worked as a painter in the style of the Pennsylvania Impressionists, winning the Arts for the Parks award in 1990 and holding three one-man exhibitions in New York City.
