Biography
George La Fountaine Sr. is an American cinematographer and novelist. He worked as director of photography on numerous television series, including the pilot episode of Seinfeld (1989) and episodes of Newhart, WKRP in Cincinnati, Growing Pains and Spin City.
As a writer he is known for the novels Two-Minute Warning (1976) and Flashpoint (1984), both of which were adapted into feature films. He was born on 10 November 1934 in Attleboro, Massachusetts.
