Biography
George Meredith, also known as Swami Devaraj, Amrito and Dr John Andrews, is a British physician who served as personal doctor to the Indian mystic Osho from the early 1980s until Osho's death in 1990.
He appears in archive footage as Self in the 2018 Netflix series Wild Wild Country, which examines the Rajneesh movement and the Oregon commune. Meredith trained in medicine in Britain and joined Osho's circle after meeting him in the 1970s. He later became vice-chair of the Osho International Foundation.
