Biography
George Spartels is an Australian actor. Born on 25 April 1954 in Carlton, Melbourne, he began his career with roles in Australian television series including Division 4, Homicide, Matlock Police, Bluey, Cop Shop and Prisoner.
He played Blackfinger in the 1985 film Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. Spartels is also known for portraying Benito Alessi in the soap opera Neighbours (1992–1993) and for presenting the children's programme Play School from 1985 to 1999. Other television credits include Sweet and Sour, Kick and Packed to the Rafters.
