Biography
George Strayton is a writer whose credits include episodes of the television series Xena: Warrior Princess (1995) and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995). He contributed as a staff writer and provided the teleplay for the Xena episode 'Lifeblood'.
Earlier in his career Strayton worked in role-playing games, writing and editing projects for West End Games including Star Wars, Men in Black and Hercules & Xena tie-ins. He later served as Director of Marketing at Renaissance Pictures and wrote the screenplay for the animated film Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight (2008).
Subsequent television work includes writing and producing on Mech-X4 (2016–2018) and October Faction (2020). He is an alumnus of the Film Division of Columbia University’s School of the Arts and son-in-law of screenwriter David Shaber.
