Biography
George Vjestica is a British guitarist, songwriter and composer. He is best known as a member of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, appearing on the band’s albums from Push the Sky Away (2013) onwards.
Vjestica has contributed to film soundtracks including The Proposition (2005) and Lawless (2012) with Nick Cave and Warren Ellis. He composed the score for Lynne Ramsay’s Die My Love (2025). Earlier credits include work with Groove Armada, John Squire and KT Tunstall.
He has also appeared as an actor, including a role in the BBC series The Pursuit of Love (2021), and features as himself in the documentary One More Time with Feeling (2016).
