Biography

Georges Flamant was a French film actor. He was born on 3 September 1903 in Tunis, then part of French Tunisia, and died on 23 July 1990.

Flamant came to attention for his role as the pimp Dédé in Jean Renoir's 1931 film La Chienne, in which he appeared alongside Janie Marèse. He later married actress Viviane Romance and appeared with her in several productions. His final screen role was as Mr. Bigey in François Truffaut's The 400 Blows (1959).
