Biography
Georgette Anys (15 July 1909 – 4 March 1993) was a French actress. She appeared in more than eighty films, primarily French productions from the 1950s, as well as some American films shot in Europe. She also worked extensively in television and radio.
Her screen credits include Germaine in Alfred Hitchcock's To Catch a Thief (1955), Lucienne Couronne in La Traversée de Paris (1956), Madame Tranche-Montagne in Fan-Fan the Tulip (1952) and Honorine (Fanny's mother) in Fanny (1961). She trained with Silvain of the Comédie-Française and performed in operettas and cabarets before the Second World War.
