Biography

Georgia Christou is an English playwright and screenwriter. She trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and began her career in theatre, writing plays including Yous Two (2018) which premiered at Hampstead Theatre after being shortlisted for the Verity Bargate Award.

Her screenwriting credits include the 2018 Channel 4 anthology episode "Through the Gates" from On the Edge, for which she received a BAFTA Television Craft Award nomination for Best Breakthrough Talent. She has written episodes of Renegade Nell (2024), Kaos (2024, also consulting producer), the second season of The Buccaneers (2025) and What It Feels Like for a Girl (2025).
