Biography
Georgine Darcy was an American dancer and actress. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, on 14 January 1933 and died in Malibu, California, on 18 July 2004.
She studied ballet and danced with the New York City Ballet before moving into modelling and acting. Darcy is best known for her role as the neighbour dubbed "Miss Torso" in Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window (1954). She later had a regular role as the secretary Gypsy in the sitcom Harrigan and Son (1960–1961) and appeared in the film Don't Knock the Twist (1962).
