Biography
Gerhard Berger is an Austrian former Formula One racing driver. Born on 27 August 1959 in Wörgl, he competed in 210 Grands Prix from 1984 to 1997, driving for teams including ATS, Arrows, Benetton, Ferrari and McLaren. He secured ten race wins and finished third in the drivers' championship in both 1988 and 1994.
Berger appears as Self in archive footage in the 2010 documentary film Senna. He has made numerous other television appearances as himself, including on motorsport programmes and chat shows.
