Biography
Germaine Delbat was a French actress, also credited as Germaine Fuster. Born in Courbevoie, Seine, she trained at the Cours Simon and worked extensively in theatre before establishing a screen career from the mid-1950s onwards.
She appeared in numerous French films and television productions, including La Traversée de Paris (1956), Lola Montès (1955), The Truth (1960), Oscar (1967) as Charlotte, Pasha (1968), Woman in Chains (1968), Last Known Address (1970), Bilitis (1977) and Cheech & Chong's The Corsican Brothers (1984). Her later television work included the role of Madame La Pierre in the BBC series Smiley's People (1982). Delbat died in Paris in 1988.
