Biography
Ghalya Lacroix is a Tunisian-French screenwriter and editor. She has worked extensively with director Abdellatif Kechiche, contributing to the screenplays and editing of several of his films.
Her credits include the screenplay and editing of Blue Is the Warmest Color (2013). She also wrote for Games of Love and Chance (2003), The Secret of the Grain (2007) and Black Venus (2010), and edited those films. Lacroix received a César Award for best screenplay for Games of Love and Chance.
Earlier in her career she appeared as an actress in films including The Silences of the Palace (1994) and For Ever Mozart (1996). She was born in Sidi Bou Saïd, Tunisia.
