Biography
Gianfilippo Carcano (1913–1996) was an Italian actor. He appeared in supporting and character roles in Italian films, primarily during the 1970s and early 1980s.
He is known for portraying Don Baravelli in Federico Fellini's Amarcord (1973). For this role he received the Nastro d'Argento for Best New Actor in 1974. Other credits include In the Name of the Italian People (1971) as Silvana's Father, The Cynic, the Rat & the Fist (1977) as the Professor, and The Yellow Panther (1982) as il portinaio della casa di Andrea.
