Biography
Gil Hubbs is an American cinematographer. He shot the 1973 martial arts film Enter the Dragon, directed by Robert Clouse and starring Bruce Lee. Hubbs joined the production at short notice and worked in anamorphic format without sync sound.
His other feature credits include Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw (1976) and Flowers in the Attic (1987). He has worked extensively in television, serving as director of photography on the series Murphy Brown (1989–1998) and My Big Fat Greek Life (2003). Hubbs has received two Primetime Emmy nominations.
A member of the American Society of Cinematographers since 1996, he has also contributed to documentaries and other productions.
