Biography
Gina Gionfriddo is an American playwright and television writer. She graduated from Barnard College in 1991 and received an MFA from Brown University in 1997, where she studied with playwright Paula Vogel.
Her plays include After Ashley (2004), Becky Shaw (2008), which was a finalist for the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and Rapture, Blister, Burn (2012), a 2013 Pulitzer Prize finalist. She has received the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize (2002) and a Guggenheim Fellowship (2005).
Gionfriddo has written for television series including Law & Order (2008–2009), Law & Order: Criminal Intent, House of Cards (2013), The Alienist (2018) and FBI: Most Wanted (2020–2022).
