Biography
Gino Ardito (27 August 1935 – 20 October 2001) was an American character actor. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he appeared in supporting roles in films and television from the late 1950s onwards.
His credits include the role of Policeman at Rally in Taxi Driver (1976), Detective in Blue Collar (1978), Plumber in California Suite (1978), and multiple appearances as O'Hara and other officers in the series McCloud (1974–1977). He also featured in Two-Minute Warning (1976) and episodes of The Incredible Hulk and Quincy, M.E..
Ardito retired from acting and later wrote plays, including 'Sometimes Everyone Loses', and completed a novel, Dan's Travels, in 1999. He died of cancer in Los Angeles, California.
