Biography
Giorgio Cantarini is an Italian actor. He was born on 12 April 1992 in Orvieto, Umbria, and made his film debut at the age of five as Giosuè Orefice in Roberto Benigni's Life Is Beautiful (1997).
Cantarini next appeared as the son of Russell Crowe's character in Ridley Scott's Gladiator (2000). For his performance in Life Is Beautiful he received a Young Artist Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination shared with the cast. He later trained at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, graduating in 2014, and has appeared in further film and television roles including Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend (2022).
