Biography
Giorgio Tonti is an Italian cinematographer, also credited as Georgio Tonti or G. Tonti. He worked as director of photography on The Merchant of Venice (1969) and Don Quixote (1992), both projects associated with Orson Welles.
Earlier in his career he served as camera operator or second assistant camera on films including It Can Be Done Amigo (1972) and Ashanti (1979). His other credits as cinematographer include Miracles Still Happen (1974), Redneck (1973) and The Favorite (1989).
