Biography
Giorgio Trestini is an Italian actor born on 26 March 1937 in Castenaso, Emilia-Romagna. He trained at the Accademia Antoniana and began his career in theatre in the early 1960s, performing with ensembles including those of Giorgio De Lullo, Rossella Falk and Alida Valli. He later worked with Franco Enriquez and Valeria Moriconi, and is noted as one of the prominent stage actors in Bologna, where he also wrote and directed plays such as L'amore di gruppo.
Trestini appeared in numerous films and television productions from the early 1970s onwards, often in supporting roles. His credits include Don't Look Now (1973) as a workman, Caliber 9 (1972) as Franceschino, The Grand Duel (1972) as Bull, The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue (1974) as Craig, Four of the Apocalypse (1975) as Saul, Crime on the Highway (1982) as Andrea Carbone, Johnny Stecchino (1991) as the hotel porter, and A Walk in Time (1996) as Pasin. He has also written for the stage and screen.
