Biography
Giovani Lampassi is a cinematographer and director. He has worked on more than 24 television series and 27 feature films over a career spanning more than 26 years.
His television credits as director of photography include Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013–2019), for which he also directed three episodes, High Potential (2024), Home Economics (2021), Veronica Mars (2019) and Unstable (2023). Feature film work includes A Merry Friggin' Christmas (2014). He began in the camera and electrical departments and trained under cinematographers John Alonzo and Peter Levy.
Lampassi is a member of the Directors Guild of America and the International Cinematographers Guild. He has also written the scripts Beantown and For Hire.
