Biography
Giovanni Bertolucci (1940–2005) was an Italian film producer and production manager. Born in Parma, he began working in the industry in the late 1960s and produced or executive-produced more than forty films.
He collaborated frequently with his cousin, director Bernardo Bertolucci, on titles including The Spider's Stratagem (1970), The Conformist (1970) and Conversation Piece (1974). Bertolucci also produced several films directed by Tinto Brass, among them The Key (1983), Paprika (1991) and Frivolous Lola (1998). He was nominated for a Nastro d'Argento for best producer for Dove siete? Io sono qui (1993).
