Biography
Giuseppe Capotondi is an Italian director of feature films, television series, music videos and commercials. He was born on 1 January 1968 in Corinaldo, Ancona.
His feature debut The Double Hour (2009) premiered in competition at the Venice Film Festival. Subsequent films include The Burnt Orange Heresy (2019). On television he has directed episodes of Endeavour (2014), Berlin Station (2016–2017), Suburra: Blood on Rome (2017), Blocco 181 (2022) and The Leopard (2025). He has also directed numerous music videos and commercials, working with production companies including Oil Factory in the United States and Factory Films in the United Kingdom.
