Biography
Giuseppe Castellano (23 October 1930 – 1 March 2010) was an Italian character actor born in Rome. He appeared in more than 50 films, primarily in the 1960s and 1970s, often in supporting roles in westerns, poliziotteschi and other genre pictures. He was also credited as Giuseppe Castellani, Thomas Kerr and Joseph Castle, and worked in production and wardrobe departments on some projects.
Castellano is known for his role as Monti in Dario Argento’s The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (1970). Other notable credits include Nicola in Caliber 9 (1972), Stelvio Mazza in Horse Fever (1976), Renoldo in Attila Scourge of God (1982) and Skip in The Island of the Fishmen (1979). He frequently played uncredited or minor parts in films such as Death Rides a Horse (1967) and Almost Human (1974).
