Biography
Giustino Durano was an Italian actor. He was born on 5 May 1923 in Brindisi and died on 18 February 2002 in Bologna.
Durano had a long career in theatre, vaudeville, radio, television and film. He collaborated with figures including Dario Fo and appeared in films such as After the Fox (1966). He is best known for playing the uncle Eliseo Orefice in Roberto Benigni's Life Is Beautiful (1997), a role for which he received the Nastro d'Argento for Best Supporting Actor.
