Biography
Glen McCoy is a British television writer. Born on 10 April 1954, he began his career after working as an ambulance driver and paramedic with the London Ambulance Service. His early writing included the 1982 book Ambulance! and scripts for the BBC medical drama Angels in 1983.
McCoy wrote the two-part Doctor Who serial Timelash, broadcast in 1985. He later novelised the story for Target Books. His other television credits include episodes of EastEnders (1985–2000), Eldorado (1992–1993) and Emmerdale Farm (1993–1996). In 2006 he contributed the short story Dream Devils to the Big Finish anthology Short Trips: The Centenarian.
