Biography
Golda Rosheuvel is a British actress and singer born on 2 May 1970 in Guyana. She moved to the United Kingdom at the age of five and trained at East Herts College and the London Studio Centre.
Her first professional theatre credit was as Donna in a European tour of Hair. Stage roles include Lady Macbeth in a 2010 Regent's Park production of Macbeth, Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet at Shakespeare's Globe, and the title role in a 2018 Liverpool Everyman production of Othello. She played Agnes in the 2016 film Lady Macbeth. Rosheuvel portrays Queen Charlotte in the Netflix series Bridgerton (2020–present) and its prequel Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (2023). Other screen credits include Shadout Mapes in Dune (2021). Her partner is playwright Shireen Mula.
