Biography
Gordon Chan Kar-Seung (also credited as Gordon Chan Ka-Seung) is a Hong Kong filmmaker who works as a director, screenwriter and producer.
Born on 16 January 1960 in Hong Kong, he began writing screenplays in the 1980s. His credits include the screenplay for Hard Boiled (1992). He has directed films such as Fight Back to School (1991), Fist of Legend (1994), Thunderbolt (1995), Beast Cops (1998), Painted Skin (2008) and Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen (2010).
Chan received Hong Kong Film Awards for best director and best picture for Beast Cops.
