Biography
Grace Hayle (also credited as Grace Hale) was an American actress. She appeared as Madame Napaloni in Charlie Chaplin's The Great Dictator (1940).
She worked in more than 300 films between 1932 and 1957, most often in small or uncredited roles as society women, customers or comic foils. Among her other credits are The Shop Around the Corner (1940), The Women (1939) and Don't Bother to Knock (1952).
Hayle had earlier stage experience, appearing with the Knickerbocker Players in Philadelphia in 1917 and on Broadway in Double Exposure (1918) and The Duchess Misbehaves (1946). She was married to Agar and died in Los Angeles on 20 March 1963.
