Biography
Grace Jones is a Jamaican singer, model and actress. Born Grace Beverly Jones on 19 May 1948 in Spanish Town, Jamaica, she moved to the United States as a teenager and studied theatre at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, New York.
She began her career as a model in New York and Paris before gaining prominence as a recording artist. Jones made her feature film debut in 1973 and became known for acting roles including Zula in Conan the Destroyer (1984) and May Day in A View to a Kill (1985).
Her other screen credits include Vamp (1986), Straight to Hell (1987) and Boomerang (1992). She has also appeared in documentaries and television specials.
