Biography
Grace La Rue (1882–1956) was an American actress and singer. She began her career as a teenager in a travelling tent show and made her Broadway debut in 1906 in the musical The Tourists. She appeared in the Ziegfeld Follies of 1907 and 1908, as well as other musical comedies and revues, and became a vaudeville headliner with performances in Britain.
La Rue made her screen debut in 1919 and had a brief film role as Frances in She Done Him Wrong (1933). She also appeared in If I Had My Way (1940). By the early 1930s she had retired to California.
