Biography

Graham Jarvis (1930–2003) was a Canadian character actor. Born Graham Powley Jarvis in Toronto, Ontario, he attended Williams College and studied acting at the American Theatre Wing. He was an original member of the Lincoln Center Repertory Theater and appeared in several Broadway productions.

Jarvis worked in American film and television from the 1960s to the early 2000s. His credits include the role of Libby in the 1990 film Misery, as well as guest appearances on MASH (1972), Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987), Married... with Children (1987), The X-Files (1993), ER (1994), Home Improvement (1991) and Six Feet Under (2001). He had a recurring role as Charles Jackson on 7th Heaven (1996–2003) and was known for playing Charlie Haggers in the 1970s series Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman*.
