Biography
Graham Kennedy was an Australian entertainer, comedian, television host and actor. Born in Melbourne in 1934, he became known as 'The King of Television' for hosting long-running variety programmes including In Melbourne Tonight from 1957 and Blankety Blanks.
He appeared in several Australian films, including Don's Party (1976), The Odd Angry Shot (1979) and The Club (1980). His international screen credit was as Dougal in the 1984 drama The Killing Fields. Kennedy received the Order of Australia and multiple Logie Awards. He died in Bowral, New South Wales, in 2005.
