Biography

Greg Malins, also credited as Gregory S. Malins, is an American television producer and screenwriter. Born on 5 December 1967 in Seattle, Washington, he began his career in the early 1990s as a writer on series including Dream On and The Wonder Years.

Malins joined the writing staff of Friends (1994) in its second season and advanced to producer, co-executive producer and executive producer roles, contributing to 17 episodes as a writer. He has also written for Will & Grace (1998), How I Met Your Mother (2005), 2 Broke Girls (2011) and other sitcoms, and created or co-created series such as Ground Floor (2013) and Your Family or Mine (2015).

He has received four Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series and was married to actress Jennifer Milmore in 1999.
