Biography
Greg McHugh is a Scottish actor and writer. He was born on 5 January 1980 in Edinburgh.
McHugh is the creator, writer and star of the BBC One Scotland comedy series Gary: Tank Commander (2009–2012). He played Howard McGregor in the Channel 4 series Fresh Meat (2011–2016).
His other television credits include Marvellous (2014) as Malcolm, The A Word as Eddie Scott, A Discovery of Witches (2018) as Hamish Osborne, and Only Child (2024) as Richard Pritchard. He trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and was nominated for a Scottish BAFTA as writer of Gary: Tank Commander.
