Biography
Greg Melvill-Smith (1961–2016) was a South African actor, director, writer and voice artist. He completed a National Diploma in Drama at Tshwane University of Technology in 1984 and was a founding member of the South African Guild of Actors (SAGA).
He appeared in numerous South African television serials, including Die Vierde Kabinet, 7de Laan, One Way and Isidingo, as well as international series such as Black Sails (2015), in which he played Admiral Hennessey. His film roles include Jaws Farrah in Mr Bones (2001), the Interviewer in District 9 (2009), and parts in Drum (2004), The Bang Bang Club (2010) and Night Drive (2010).
