Biography
Gregg Hale is an American film producer, best known for producing The Blair Witch Project (1999). Born in Selma, Alabama, he considers Henderson, Kentucky his hometown. He attended Western Kentucky University briefly before serving four years in the US Army, then studied film at Valencia College and the University of Central Florida.
After working as a set dresser and prop man on features and television in Orlando and Los Angeles for ten years, Hale produced The Blair Witch Project. He has since produced Altered (2006), Seventh Moon (2008) and Lovely Molly (2011), and directed a segment of the anthology V/H/S/2 (2013). He is based in Portland, Oregon.
