Biography
Gregory Bernstein is an American screenwriter. Born on 5 July 1955 in Los Angeles, he is the son of composer Elmer Bernstein and is married to writer Sara Bernstein.
He wrote the screenplay for Official Secrets (2019) with Sara Bernstein and Gavin Hood. His other credits include the story and screenplay for The Conspirator (2011), the story and teleplay for the television film Call Me Claus (2001), and the story and screenplay for Trial and Error (1997). He also wrote, directed and appeared in the short film One Day in Dallas (1990). Bernstein is an associate professor in the School of Film, Dance and Theatre at Arizona State University.
