Biography
Gustaf Hammarsten is a Swedish film, television and theatre actor. Born in Stockholm in 1967, he trained at Calle Flygare Teaterskola and graduated from Teaterhögskolan i Stockholm in 1995. He made his screen debut in a small role in The Best Intentions (1992).
Hammarsten is known for his role as Göran in Together (2000) and its sequel Together 99 (2023), for which he received a Guldbagge nomination. He played Lutz in Brüno (2009) and has appeared in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), Kursk (2018), Old (2021) and Stockholm (2019). He is also credited in the anthology film V/H/S/Mixtape (2026).
