Biography
Gustavo Sánchez Parra is a Mexican actor. He trained at the Centro Universitario de Teatro of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
He made his film debut in Alejandro González Iñárritu's Amores Perros (2000) as Jarocho, for which he received the Ariel Award for Best Supporting Actor. Subsequent credits include The Legend of Zorro (2005), The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005), New Order (2020) and Sound of Freedom (2023), in which he played El Calacas.
Sánchez Parra has appeared in dozens of feature films and short films. He received an honorary prize at the Morelia International Film Festival for his work in more than forty shorts.
