Biography
Guy Gross is an Australian film and television composer. He is the son of film producers Yoram and Sandra Gross and began scoring while studying classical composition at the Conservatorium High School in Sydney.
Gross is known for his scores for the film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994) and the television series Farscape (1999). He has composed for numerous other projects including A Few Best Men (2012), Cut (2000), Swinging Safari (2018) and How to Please a Woman (2022), as well as animated series such as Blinky Bill and Dumb Bunnies.
He received a nomination for the British Academy Film Award for Best Original Music for The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and has won Australian Screen Music Awards. Gross founded Church Street Studios and served as President of the Australian Guild of Screen Composers from 2012 to 2017.
